Manufactured in the town of Limoges by the Bernardaud family, each votive is lovingly crafted of fine French porcelain. Using the Ancient Greek technique of Lithophany, a tealight candle placed beneath the dome beautifully illuminates one of several scenes. Choose from a variety of scenes.

Unlike any other Votive

These votives literally come to life when lit - the unique design gives a 3 dimensional look to the scene when a votive is lit. Just light the small candle, wait a few minutes for the porcelain to "warm up" and you have this beautiful scene that you cannot take your eyes off! Lovely as table decorations for a dinner party or for setting on a side table. Delicate, elegant, yet really cool - I live in Venice Canals/Marina del Rey and this is something beautiful for all ages and party or entertaining divas! Be careful of course and store safely when not in use or keep in a place that is less likely to drop. Not overly delicate, but it is not meant to be knocked around! Try several similar styles for a set table with a theme or use the flowers for a different feel. Bernardaud is an excellent brand.
